I have 14 years of experience and started tattooing before it was popular and have seen numerous pieces done by half-ass tattooist. And have had to fix them. My philosophy on tattooing is simple; each tattoo should be as perfect as possible and should be personal to each person. To do this is simple; each tattoo must be done for one person, not mass produced in a production shop (by picking it off the wall!). I have had other shops and traveled all around the country tattooing. I’ve found that the only way to achieve a one on one relationship with customers is to listen to what you want and draw those for you. That makes it yours and not repeated on other people. This is different from 90% of the shops out there. They seem to want only to get you in, take your money and get you out. If you want a personal artist that will take time to make getting your tattoo the perfect experience for years and years, give Cynical a chance. I don’t like to do stuff over and over again so I’ve been trained in almost every style of tattooing. I do a lot of big pieces but will also do little ones. I do a lot of flame pieces, oriental, black and gray, animated, and cover-up’s.
